Live Streaming Audio Broadcast

JAMCO will begin our live broadcast of this regatta at 10:45 AM Pacific Time (19:45 in the Czech Republic).

At 10:45 AM, we will begin our broadcast with live commentary, via streaming, audio for the Women's Novice Eight race, Men's Freshmen Eight race, and the special Pairs Without Coxswain races between two crews from the USA Men's National Team. JAMCO will not be providing split times for these races via the web.

At 11:00 AM, JAMCO begins providing live commentary and our customary live split times race reports and graphics for the Women's and Men's JV races for the Cascade Cup, and for the Women's and Men's races between the Washington and Cornell Varsity crews and the Czech Republic's Women's and Men's National Teams. These races will be run between 11:00 AM and 11:30 AM (20:00 Czech time).

New JAMCO Radio — New this year is live streaming-audio descriptions to compliment our real-time graphics of the races.

Live Race Reports — Split times and results are presented live, letting you follow your favorite races in real-time. JAMCO Race Reports are updated automatically during each race. Choose a race in the Regatta Index and Schedule.

Volunteers — JAMCO is completely run by volunteers. We very much appreciates the efforts of our volunteer broadcasters who are stationed along the course in Seattle, and who are spotting the start and the arrivals of the crews at the intermediate 500 meter marks and the finish line. "Thank you" Matthew Johnson at the start line, Steve Gillespie at 500 meters, Joshua Rakita at 1000 meters, Samantha Wong at 1500 meters and Anna Mickelson at the finish line, with special thanks to Mike Callahan, Assistant Men's Varsity Coach at Washington, for coordinating this coverage for us.

Unofficial Times — JAMCO provides an independent race timing system and thus our finishing times are unofficial. JAMCO Race Reports marked “Official” contain official finish times provided by the Regatta Committee.

Color Coding — Real time movements by crews during each 500 meter interval are highlighted by different colors. Gold (yellow) crews are closing on the leader in the current 500. Silver (light blue) crews are closing on the second place crew, but falling further behind the leader. Bronze (orange) crews are closing on the third place crew, but falling further behind the leader and the second place crews. White crews are falling further behind all three leading crews. Quite often, when a crew turns gold, it takes the lead in the next 500.

Printing Tips — When printing JAMCO race bulletins, you may get better results if you set your browser to print background colors and images. If you are using MS Internet Explorer, go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced and scroll down to where you see "Printing - Print background colors and images."

Automatic Refresh — During the race, JAMCO updates race results every 500m. JAMCO web pages showing real-time results are designed to automatically reload or refresh every 30 seconds. If you are viewing a race in progress and the page does not automatically reload, please press the "Refresh" or "Reload" button on your browser.
