Pre-race Analysis: Although this is a close race for all 6 crews, the patterns of their respective progress down the course are consistent and support the prediction of AUS gold, ITA silver and DEN bronze. However, the back and forth between ITA and DEN suggests that the silver medal can go either way between them. Moreover, if either ITA or DEN burns out trying to do in the other, then both AUT and FRA will be right there in the last 500 meters to pick off the road kill.
