Pre-race Analysis: SLO should win decisively. The 2nd and 3rd place finishes to qualify for Saturday's "A" final should be contested between HUN, FRA and USA. The question is whether HUN intentionally backed off in its preliminary heat loss to GER, or faded. If the latter, then the door to the "A" final will open for USA in the last 500 meters.
