Updates: Video replays of today's Varsity races: Men's Eight and Women's Eight.

Longtime rivals Cal and Stanford face off again in The Big Row.

For the men, The Big Row dates back to 1902 and this is their 74th meeting. This year's race has national implications as the Stanford Cardinal are undefeated and ranked #2, while the Cal Bears are Ranked #3. Stanford defeated Cal earlier this year in San Diego (see video replay), while the Golden Bears have won the Schwabacher Cup, awarded at this regatta, for the last fifteen years.

The women's Big Row began in 1976. This year, Cal Women's Crew is ranked #2 and will face #16 Stanford. The Bear beat the Cardinal in last year's Big Row and earlier this year in San Diego.

JAMCO will be providing live simultaneous presentation of race graphics, statistics, results, audio and visual coverage of the races.

About JAMCO Race Bulletins

Unofficial Times — JAMCO takes its own finishing times and those are the first finishing times to appear on JAMCO's real time race result pages. Those pages are marked "unofficial" because the Regatta Committee is also taking finishing times, and its times are the "official" times. The Regatta Committee provides JAMCO with its "official" times after the races are over, and JAMCO then enters the "official" times on its reports. Therefore, there may be a considerable delay in replacing the "unofficial" times with "official" times, but the order of finish should not change."

Color Coding — Real time movements by crews during each 500 meter interval are highlighted by different colors. Gold (yellow) crews are closing on the leader in the current 500. Silver (light blue) crews are closing on the second place crew, but falling further behind the leader. Bronze (orange) crews are closing on the third place crew, but falling further behind the leader and the second place crews. White crews are falling further behind all three leading crews. Quite often, when a crew turns gold, it takes the lead in the next 500.

Printing Tips — When printing JAMCO race bulletins, you may get better results if you set your browser to print background colors and images. If you are using MS Internet Explorer, go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced and scroll down to where you see "Printing - Print background colors and images."

Automatic Refresh — During the race, JAMCO updates race results every 500m. JAMCO web pages showing real-time results are designed to automatically reload or refresh every 30 seconds. If you are viewing a race in progress and the page does not automatically reload, please press the "Refresh" or "Reload" button on your browser.
