Course Conditions
Sunny, clear and a steady cross wind
At 7:00 am Saturday morning, the weather was
cool, sunny and calm.
At 8:45 am, there was a moderate port to starboard
crosswind, i.e., from lane 1 towards 6. Winds were steady with occasional
gusts.
At noon, the winds picked up and will likely
play a significant role in the afternoon races. Winds of 10-20 MPH
are forecast.
At 3:00pm, wind gusts were reportedly exceeding
20 MPH.
At 4:20pm, very strong wind gusts were significantly
but equally affecting all crews.
