Friday, May 26
In the morning, the temperature was about 65 degrees F. Clear blue sky and sunny. Very
strong tailwind, straight down the course, slight waves in last 700 meters, but not enough
to upset the crews.
In the afternoon, the direct tailwind picked up considerably since this morning and
there were significant waves rolling down the course. Otherwise, clear, sunny and about 70
degrees.
Saturday, May 27
In the morning, conditions were ideal. Overcast, temperature 65 degrees, glassy water, no
wind at all.
Sunday, May 28
High overcast. Cross-head from the starboard to almost
direct headwind. Water was still flat the entire course, but the times were
slower due to the wind. Temperature about 65 - 70 degrees.
