Australian Rowing Championships
Women's Senior A Double Sculls
Final - Saturday March 11, 2000

Code       Crew Scullers
UTN UTS/NSWIS Marina Hatzakis, Bronwyn Roye
UTC UTS/CANB/NSWIS Kerry Knowler, Julia Wilson
UTS UTS Christine Gosling, Ballanda Sack
MER MERC/UTS/VIS Monique Heinke, Georgina Douglas
NEP NEPEAN/UTS/NSWIS Rebecca Joyce, Kelly Matthew
SWA SWAN RVR/ECU/WAIS       Amber Bradley, Sally Robbins

The favorite is Hatzakis and Roye in the UTN double. Roye won the women's single earlier this week over Douglas now in the MER double in this race. The first three crews in each heat qualified for the final, so the splits through the first 1000m are more reliable from a prediction standpoint than those that follow. The indication at the 1000m mark is that Hatzakis and Roye will win this event, with a good race for 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th between MER, UTS and NEP. The FISA World Championship and Olympic histories for these women are posted on the women's single sculls page on this site.

The following prediction race bulletin is simply a mix of the times for these doubles in the qualifying heats.
