Pre-race Analysis: NZL and ITA should qualify for Saturday's "A" final, unless EGY or EST can stay with ITA in the last 500 meters. Those 3 scullers are expected to be overlapped with 500 meters to go, and EGY and EST may have backed off in the last 500 in their preliminary heats. In any case, expect a furious rush from these three in the last 500, with only one to pick off the 2nd qualifying spot for the "A" final.
